Yvette Diaz grew up in the Dallas area and completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating from UT, Yvette joined a local law firm specializing in personal injury and mass tort litigation. Motivated by her experience at the firm, she decided to pursue a career in law. She attended Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago, IL graduating in 2014.
Yvette has dedicated her entire legal career to representing and fighting for injured individuals. After law school, Yvette joined a prominent mass tort firm where she represented injured plaintiffs across the country and gained extensive litigation and trial experience. In 2020, Yvette was selected by the National Trial Lawyers for inclusion in its Top 40 under 40 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers, an honor given to only a select group of lawyers for their superior skills and qualifications in the field. Since 2019, Yvette has been named a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Yvette’s passion has always been representing the underdog in the fight against large corporations. At Thompson Law, Yvette is a member of the firm’s Pre-Litigation department where she continues that fight against large insurance corporations. Yvette is proud to be part of a firm whose mission is to represent all its injured clients with relentless aggressiveness and complete dedication.
In her spare time, Yvette enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, and snuggling up to her English Bulldog.
