Over the course of her career, she has worked in private practice, litigation support, and in-house counsel roles, developing extensive experience analyzing complex factual records, evaluating legal exposure, and managing disputes involving multiple parties and stakeholders. Her background in litigation, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment allows her to quickly identify key legal issues while providing clients with straightforward, realistic guidance about their cases.

Before joining Thompson Law, Michelle served as in-house counsel for a Dallas-based company, advising leadership on operational legal matters, contractual risk, and dispute management. Michelle earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of South Carolina. She is licensed to practice law in Texas, South Carolina, and Washington, D.C.
