Matthew Vinson

Matthew Vinson is a personal injury attorney in the Dallas office of Thompson Law. His practice focuses on representing individuals injured in car wrecks, trucking collisions, defective product claims, and other negligence matters.
Before joining Thompson Law, Matthew spent nearly a decade representing injured individuals in Dallas, working on cases involving defective medical devices, dangerous pharmaceuticals, and toxic exposure claims. He began his legal career as a law clerk before becoming a licensed attorney, working directly with clients from intake through resolution across all stages of litigation.
Matthew earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2016. During law school, he competed in moot court and mock trial competitions, earning recognition for written advocacy and oral argument. He also earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, magna cum laude, from the University of North Texas.
Licensed to practice law in Texas since November 2016, Matthew is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Outside the office, Matthew lives in the Dallas area with his wife, Susan, and their three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
